SPREAD THE SMILES KASAMA ANG SONY ERICSSON PARA SA UNICEF

Sa mga susunod na Linggo ay pipilitin ng Sony Ericsson Philippines na makakuha ng isang milyong ngiti sa kanilang Spread the Smiles Program. Sa kada ngiti na kanilang makukuha ay magaalay sila ng piso sa UNICEF na siya namang gagamitin para tulungan ang pagpapalawig ng edukasyon ng mga batang Pilipino.

Maaring mag donate ng smile sa mga Sony Ericsson Experience Shops sa Mall at sa mga itatayo na Smile Booths sa mga piling SM Malls. Maaring magdagdag ng donasyon na bente pesos para makakuha ka ng larawan ng donasyon mo na smile mula sa Digiprint. Maliban doon ay malalagay din ang larawan mo sa Smile Wall, at bibigyan ka ng isang raffle ticket para sa pagkakataong mapanalunan ang isang bagong Sony Ericsson C510 Cyber-shot cellphone.

Ang habol ng Sony Ericsson ay ang makakuha ng isang milyong ngiti para makapagbigay sila ng isang milyon sa UNICEF bago mag Hunyo 30, 2009.

Kinuha ng Sony Ericsson si Sarah Geronimo bilang Sony Ericsson Smile Ambassador. Isang special edition na C510 na kukulayan ng "Energetic Red" at lalagyan ng content mula kay Sarah ang ilalabas bilang "the Sarah phone."

Gagamitin ang mga bagong labas na Cyber-shot cellphones ng Sony Ericsson na may Smile Shutter technology sa pagkuha ng mga smile donations. Ang Smile Shutter technology ay automatikong kumukuha ng picture pag nakakakita ng smile. Kaya kailangan lang gawin ay itapat ang Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot cellphone sa kukuhanan at pag ngiti niya ay "click" kuha na ang picture. Galing diba?

Ang mga bagong cellphone na may Smile Shutter technology ay ang Sony Ericsson C510 na siyang nasabing best 3 Megapixel camera phone ayon sa research ng TESTfactory sa Alemanya.

Ang Sony Ericsson C905, ang 8.1 Megapixel camera na nanalo ng gintong premyo sa Best Camera Phone na kategorya sa CNET Asia Readers Choice Awards.

Ang Sony Ericsson C903, ang 5 Megapixel camera na may 16X zoom na may aGPS (Global Positioning System). Ang GPS ay isang teknolohiya na gumagamit ng mga signal na mula sa 16 na satellite sa kalawakan na maaring gamitin ng isang gadget para malaman mo eksakto kung nasaan ka kahit saan sa mundo at gamitin ito para makapunta sa kahit saan pang ibang lugar sa mundo.

Isang 50 piyeng dingding ang itatayo sa SM North EDSA Sky Garden Bridgeway na siyang maglalaman ng mga larawan na siyang makokolekta ng Spread the Smiles.

Ayon kay Patrick Larraga, Marketing Manager ng Sony Ericsson, "National Pride ang nakasalalay dito kasi nga ang Pilipinas ay natawag na 'Land of Smiles' at kailangang mapatunayan natin ito. Sana ay matulungan niyo kami na makaipon ng mga ngiti para makuha namin ang isang milyon na siya namang magiging donasyon sa UNICEF para sa kinabukasan ng mga batang Pilipino."

Nagbigay ng todo supporta sina Millie Dizon, Vice President ng Marketing Communications ng SM, at si Vanessa Tobin, Country Representative ng UNICEF sa project na ito ng Sony Ericsson.

Dapat nating tandaan na 42 porsiyento ng ating populasyon ay masasabing mga "bata" at nakakarimarim isipin na sa kada sampung bata na pumapasok sa mababang antas ng pagaaral ay anim lamang ang nakakatapos. Sa anim na ito na papasok sa mataas na antas ay apat lamang ang makakatapos. Kailangan nating pangalagaan ang edukasyon ng kabataan. Paano pa tayo magiging maka-tech na bayan kung ang napakaimportanteng bagay tulad ng edukasyon ay hindi natin bibigyan ng importansiya.

MGA BAGONG PHONES NG HTC

Nilabas kagabi ng HTC ang kanilang mga bagong cellphones, ang HTC Touch Diamond2 at ang HTC Touch Pro2. Ayon kay Mark Sergio, Country Manager ng HTC Philippines, and mga bagong unit nila ay lalabas sa katapusan ng Mayo para sa Diamond2 at sa kalagitnaan o katapusan ng Hunyo para sa Pro2. Ang HTC Touch Pro2 ay may tinatawag na Straight Talk function kung saan maaring makipag-conference call sa hanggang walong tao. Pero ayon sa pagsasaliksik nina Sergio sa tulong ng mga local cell phone service providers, hanggang lima ang siyang pinakanaayon.

Ang HTC Touch Diamond2 naman ay may Push Internet kung saan parang mayroon kang "butler" o utusan na siyang magda-download mula sa internet ng iyong mga gustong tingnan kahit na hindi mo na siya bantayan. Gamit ito ay maari mo siyang i-set na pumunta sa isang website halimbawa habang ikaw ay may ibang ginagawa.
